Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the page to work, some count how many people read it, some track advertising campaigns. We count browser local storage here too, which is technically not a cookie but does a similar job.
What we use
Necessary
These cannot be switched off, because without them we could not even remember that you answered the cookie message.
| Name | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
pc_consent | Holds your cookie choice so we do not ask again. It is stored locally on your own device and never reaches us. | One year |
Analytics
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. It shows us which pages get read and where people arrive from. IP addresses are anonymised and we make no attempt to identify anyone.
| Name | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one device apart from another, with no name attached to it. | Two years |
_ga_<identifier> | Holds the session state for Google Analytics 4. | Two years |
These are on by default. If you would rather they were not, switch them off in the settings and the change applies straight away.
Advertising
Off by default, and they stay off unless you turn them on. They would only come into play if we ever run an advertising campaign and need to know which ad worked. While consent is absent, Google Tag Manager writes no advertising cookies and ad click identifiers are redacted.
Embedded content
The contact page shows a Google Maps view and the booking page loads Cal.com. Both services may set their own cookies when you open those pages, under their own policies.
How to change your mind
Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page. It opens the same panel as the first time, and the change applies immediately, with no page reload.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Clearing this site's data clears your choice with it, so you will see the message again.
More
For how we handle your personal data more broadly, see the Privacy Policy.
